I really looks like a 44,000 mile car from the shape of the dash, interior condition and even under the hood looks not bad.
Judging by the rust on the auto trans shifter it has not been super well stored.
Hope it hasn't been sitting on grass for long.

I can't say for sure on a 4dr sedan but out of the 2 door hardtops I've had over the years, 3 - Strato Chief, 2 - Parisienne, and 2 - 2+2, they were all a flat black finish with a greyish spatter on the trunk floor and sides. My guess from the colour, it's not original paint in the trunk.

I agree. An all original 4 dr Laurentian I just parted out last year, and a 2 dr parisienne I've recently acquired to part out are also flat black with grey spatter . (As well as all the 69 Impala's I've parted too )
