Just a heads up re 1965 Catalina 2+2 louvers. I have a buddy with a 1965, and he measured his for me. While they kind of have the same look as the 1969 louvers, they're definitely thinner.

The 1965 louvers measure 4-7/8" tall x 1/2" wide. They were also used on the 1965 Tempest.

The 65 ones just wouldn't look right, they're way too thin.   And I'm not sure about the height, but I'm guessing they're shorter too.

Have you got 5 lefts and 5 rights? Opening faces forward, and little drain hole goes towards the bottom.

Yes I have a complete set and 3 extras ..so should be ok. looking them all over and picking the best the drain groves are so small and thin that even if I had too its easy to do to turn them upside down make a grove  they are very hard to notice ..a dab of jbl liquid metal on the inside of the grove and you wouldnt even notice the org grove ,not at all once they are painted

Congratulations Bill.

I am looking forward to when you get to pull the 69 out for a better view. Hope you can share what you find.

You'll notice that by turning them upside down, the mounting holes no longer line up.
