Needed a Secondary AIR injection check valve and sensor for my late model Cadillac. As usually dealer only part in Canada, quoting a ridiculous $500+price. I tried ,my jobber and no way he could get it. I found it on Amazon for $139.99 US and free delivery with Prime. It arrived in three days in an AC Delco Box with AC Delco gasket in bag, just the way the dealer would have handed it to me.

I haven't heard anyone talking about late model parts being available from Amazon so just letting the group know if interested. If you know file this under G.

I've found stuff on Amazon.ca but lots of times the Cdn price is very high while the US price is much cheaper. Hopefully what you found is a trend toward getting more parts in Canada and at good prices. I do usually check the Amazon site when buying something I need and buy some stuff there.

Not an auto part, but I just paid $108 for a UV water filter bulb locally. It has doubled in price the last 3 years (I have to buy one once a year). I decided to have a look online....Amazon.ca....$47

I was going to buy my UV bulb on Amazon but the reviews weren't great. Did your's come with the O-ring or did you reuse the existing one (that is if your system is the same as mine)? My bulb purchased locally was $120 after tax and they never last the full year as the manufacturer of the system states. My warning indicator comes on after about 8 months.

I have purchased a few auto parts on Amazon and have been happy with them.

I bought an AC Delco wire set off Amazon.ca for my 427. There was no GM stock at the time, so I bought it off Amazon, and the crazy thing is, it was about 5% below GM dealer cost...

Getting off topic here a bit, but I've seen a guy selling AC Delco 508R (for my big blocks) wires on ebay for $20 US / set, so I've got a couple spare sets.

You can get good deals if you look out for them.
I bought brand new moog springs set fronts $30 with free shipping. For the set. Brand new. Dont know how the price was messed up. Maybe people thought it was per spring? I took the chance and it was a set... after I bought them the price went back over $200 bucks...

Just received a new rad for the old cherokee off amazon,was 1/2 the price lordco wanted.5 days to my door.If it something your not in a big hurry for,its usually worth looking online.I think shipping is free on purchases over $35.Most cases,delivery is 3-5 days from amazon warehouse!Routine stuff comes from the local lordco or napa.

About 70% of ALL my purchases are through Amazon and i have no complaints. Like Todd said, it is kind of slow in delivery now. I was use to getting stuff the same day or at the very least two to three days. EBay can go to the crapper as far as i am concerned.

well ordered my ign switch sat eve and it just showed up nice! turn the key to the on position and the starter cuts in and out by itself,cant be starting it like that!
