I went this morning just over an hour away to a huge swap meet and car show in Pomona, just south of Los Angeles. Meet starts at 5 in the morning and many show up then. When I got there at 6:20 there were 5 rows of vehicles lined up to pay for the fair ground parking. I heard a lot of Spanish spoken and these folks are some talented car guys. The one thing they have to add besides what many of us Canadians do is a super air ride system. Probably at least 300 cars for sale and acres of parts. Wifi isnt great here but will try upload some pictures through the evening.

The Hispanics in So. Cal. have been into low-riders forever and are proud of their rides. Always popular are the 61-64 Chevy.

Thanks for these! Obviously while not being a low rider affectionado, I don't think there is another group that takes any old car to the level of detail they do. Some of those 60's Impalas are the top of the game.

I love most different car cultures and after seeing a documentary on the Chicano car culture I appreciate it more than I ever did. 

More than most cultures, it is so much more than just the cars.
