Does anyone have FITECH fuel injection on their car? Thinking about installing it om my El Camino.

search efitech and I found Amazon summit and a host of other web address to search. The ones I looked at had an extensive product and price range.

They start with the basic unit at $795 and go upwards. That one is basically an electronic carb. The next unit is priced at $995 but controls the fan and ignition. Making it a better solution. Only it doesnt work with HEI for some reason.

Mate of mime has one on his 73 ventura BBC 554. Twin tunnel ram setup. Bees knees. Enabled sub 12 sec 1/4 mile times. Need to buy a fuel centre as well. Not sure what dizzy he runs.

If it weren't for the need to upgrade the fuel system and distributor, it would be comparable in price to a higher end 4150 style carb.

Thats right. I may have to get a new tank for the El Camino in the Spring. Rockauto sells a tank with the fuel system built in.

Yes. Could do that but they are noisy and prone to vibrating.

I know a couple people with it on their vehicles. They swear by it. Self learning so it takes the hassle out of it, no tuning required.

Last year Cdnpont (Mark) told me about the http://www.globalwest.net/ site and they had the strut rod and upper control arms that he had put on his car with great results.

 

Gottta get that for my Chevy... Christmas gift to me.... Now in the trunk of my car awaiting installation.

 

Now you have added another item to next years Christmas list... oh darn.... 

I will be watching all the reviews, so keep them coming.

This is what I put in my tank. Absolutely mint And easy. Run an adjustable fuel regulator at the engine.
