My friend Pauls station wagon went just after lunch and he got $30g for it. I think it was close to his break even point as he bought it earlier this year
There were tons of the usual Camaros, Corvettes, Mustangs, and Chevelles but I took some pictures of the old Mopars and Caddies. Will see if some will load.
Out of the 30K for the wagon, he pays 8% seller's fee? Is that what it is?
I didnt ask him but that sounds close Id think to what it would be. When we were in Spokane in July he had it listed and pretty sure he was trying to get $40US for it.
I have mixed feeling on the 34 Cadillac, absolutely incredible car and I'm sure that Northstar makes it sit up and beg but what of originality? I guess if I wanted to drive it the Northstar is the way to go, if I wanted to look at it then the original engine would be ideal. OK I want to drive it!
Can you tell me how long your friend has owned this wagon and where he purchased it?? Fees for BJ are 10% and 10% double whammy for sure!!
Thinking it was May or June this year because he had it when we did the Good Guys show in Spokane mid July. Came out of Vancouver if I remember right. He had a couple car deals going at the same time so didnt play close attention. Ill ask him today.
Thats a sad one. Gentlemen probably in early 70s lost his wife a little over a year ago and is selling off. He said its just not the same so has already sold some of his cars and was selling this. It goes Friday afternoon Im pretty sure. Says not sure what he is going to do. Very skilled guy in building that truck but life has changed.
