 Oh Man ! that brings back memories. We lived this stuff as kids, I was 12 in 1969 and had all the Hot Rod magazines and what not. I have to admit that Sox & Martin were my favorites, then Grumpy Jenkins and Don Prudhomme. We'd build models of our favourites and draw pictures of them all over our school books and art projects. Great stuff there, loved it.

Very cool. I'd say this was the heyday for the sport.

About this time I got my first Hot Wheels, and remember going to the drag races while on vacation near Cranbrook BC.

oh man when I was a boy I was crazy about funny cars, loved the front lift up bodys as I got older was into the pro stock types and brackets at 18 my first real car was a 396 bored 60 over 69 nova yep green that was a bracket car ran on AV gas.5:13 rear .how i didn't kill myself or any other was lucky..yep the motor didn't last long
