65 SD Master Brake


Anyone know which is the right master cylinder for my 65 SD ? replaced my old one on my other 65 but now forgot where I got it? seems it's the same as 69 Camaro is that right? thanks for all the help here.JF

Yes,  readily available at most auto parts stores, and fairly cheap still,  you should be able to get new or reman ones,  qualities will vary greatly, so you might want to ask a freindly parts counter guy to order or bring out more than one box, so you can inspect them for ugly looking aftermarket blead screws, and incorrect looking caps and wire spring clamps,  also some of the reman ones can be pretty rough looking after all these years,  Going new could result in china junk,  reman ones are probably autoline from winnipeg.

The one for your car will be used on 1964-1966 GM truck, c10,  Chevelle, beaumont and impala, belair biscayne, laurentain, strato, etc,  they were all the same.  1963s will fit too, but have a different looking cap with a center bolt rather than the spring clamp

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.
