Superior I believe .  Early 70s . A buddy bought them , they were still in the boxes, but they were tattered .. so he tossed them.

These have been painted as long as I have had them (40+ years)

Here they are on a C/MP 55 Chev I ran in 1977 at St. Thomas. Still have the slicks (M/T Super Stock 7")

They were removed shortly after these pics in 1977.

Bought that car from a racer in Connecticut, the mods had been done before I got it. Canadian money was worth more,

I bought it for US$2000. figured it to be about CA$1700. - yes that is hundred not thousand........smile

Towed it back home to Richmond Hill, ON in the famous storm of Feb '77 on the New York Thruway.

Off topic I know but funny, I was driving a car similar to your tow car around the same time. Back then you could pick those big cars up cheap. Everyone was afraid of the gas mileage. 1974 green pontiac 001.JPG

You are 100% correct. Had a 73 Grand Am 4 door with the top option 455 in it. Bought the car for $1200.00 safety checked and on the road. Wish I still had that car.

My pappy had these on our 69 Pontiac. He got them at Lion Auto Supply in London when they were going out of business. I think he paid $100 for the set! Mom was mad that he bought them and told him to "grow up" biggrin
