I'm not sure on which paintcode/color I'm dealing with?...It's a dark aqua/bluish metallic..I love the combo. Also see the little hook the seat belt is hanging on? Anyone know about that? I recently saw pics of one in Langley that also had them..

Probably Lagoon Aqua like my car.

Thanks for the comments! These pics were taken last year I think. The lower quarters have been sprayed...broken at top crease. I'd like to find some color coded floor mats with pontiac logo on them.. I've seen them in pics but haven't located any online.Anyone know where to find them? Also you know the little chrome rings on the steering wheel, well it's missing two of those. Ifigure maybe I could make them. They must be cast I guess...broke and fell off. I still haven'toved it home yet...weather and all.I was going to do the u-ship thing but I look for a trailer to borrow instead.....The p.o. is debilitated and has spare parts so I need to go anyway.... In the pics the shifter has a "tee handle" from a later model but has a chrome ball now which I think is correct.
Wow, what a find.
I suspect the seat belt hooks are as described above.
You'll find Pontiac logo floor mats at www.amesperformance.com
The chrome rings, actually a C shape, for the steering wheel are reproduced, Try any major Impala supplier.
I totally agree with pontiax regarding the supposed seat belt hooks. Unequivocally, there was no such hook from the factory. When I look at pictures of my factory buckets on my '64 CS, there is a screw which fastens the chrome located in the exact position. Someone has merely added some kind of hook to this location. Personally, I would remove it.

Thanks for the comments...I've already been made aware that there is/was no Custom Sport designation for 63. I put that in the thread title coming over from the full size section for guys who posted over there. I'm also aware of screw placement on the seat chrome..Pritch I will remove the hooks as I think they are not correct as well although your 64 seatbelts are different....no hole to hang em up if if ya wanted to. Ponticanada, I think I've read here and possibly elsewhere that no option info besides the basics are available for 63 and older? How important are period correct floor mats? Color coded aftermarket carpet style mats with the arrowhead logo won't kill the value on this car imho. The carpet is somewhat faded as well.I may replace it.Back to the seat belt thingy...when I saw the guys car from Langley with them it made me scratch my head...I'll see if I can find the pic and post it ...Maybe it was just the "trick of the day"....so they didn't fall out all the time.
Good eye, otus. You are quite correct. I have often been told that I am missing a screw or at least have a loose one. But, no worries; the missing screw has long since been replaced when I finished installing my new interior. By the way, you are correct about the seat belts too. My original '64 seatbelts had the hole but the ones I purchased from NOS had the newer style catch and buckle. Since I have very little interest in "numbers matching" and "originality," I opted for belts that matched my new carpet as well as the rest of the interior. The rear belts were not factory on my car, but I added them for passenger safety. I wish you every success with your project.
Hey Pritch I was talking about your car ya know!...lol. I concur with your thoughts on #'s matching stuff..Iwould also like to install rear belts and was think retractables up frt. Here's a link to a pic of the other guy with"seatbelt hooks". www.1963pontiac.com/images/yourphotogallery/gbspontint.jpg

Yes, that is true. I always forget that '64 was the changeover to more info. ... too bad.
Can't wait to see more of your car.

Stuart, I checked out the picture of the other '63 with the "seatbelt hooks." These hooks appear to be identical to the old style interior hooks, but they also look like the chrome shower curtain hooks many people had in their bathrooms. My preference is that a car must have a stick, standard or automatic, buckets, and a console too, not just some homely shifter sticking up through the floor boards. I absolutely detest bench seats. Of the numerous cars I have ever owned and still do own, only one was a bench seat, my first car.

That's what I thought.
