I had the same issue with a Harley Road King I went to look at.

Not insured or licensed and in a garage with a long, snowy and slippery driveway.

No way I could test drive it. When I complained of that, he said the price will be higher in the spring.

I wasn't willing to take the risk and buy it as-is.

YES some really nutty people.

After I got off the phone I messaged him saying if the car is as good as it sounds I'd pay his price thinking that might entice him to make an effort to show the car to me. No reply as of yet. It's 7c right now. Not a lot of snow left.

Consider that the Average IQ in Canada is 100, which puts us in the #5 position of all counties in the world, Hong Kong is 109 in #1 spot so Kijiji must attract all those that are pulling our average down  from all the genius' on Canadian Poncho. More than thre questionable intelligence its really disrespectful and rude the way many Kijiji folks operate. 

I agree Harry. It is very difficult to find a decent used car here in PEI. I checked out a 99 GMC Jimmy from Alberta. Seller has it listed as "mint". Sure, it's really solid however it's far from "mint". ABS was malfunctioning. Windshield cracked all to hell (with a recent inspection sticker on it too--hmmm), catalytic converter has been cut open, gutted and welded shut (weld leaking) AC inop. Radio inop. etc etc.

The whole situation perplexes me... Why bother placing an ad if you're not serious about selling it?  Surely people must have better things to do with their time.

Then putting an ad in with crap pictures and little to no information... again, why bother?  Nobody's going to offer you a million dollars for your car if the pics don't draw them in, and/or if you don't bother to answer requests or be available for viewing in person.

Ah well... at least it gives us something to complain about!

 Apologies, my Beaumont is for sale on Kijiji, can see it in my garage but sure as hell aren't going to test drive until Apr in Manitoba.

But for kicks a lot of mentions that it should be a Chevelle and I might get what I want for it.

If the cars not ready for sale at that moment why list it online ?

Person sees ad. Phones, arranges inspection. Shows up with cash in hand ready to purchase. Sorry can't see it until X.
Buyer says ok. I'll go look at another car. Buys other car. Seller calls back when car is ready for purchase. Sorry I bought the other car that afternoon.

guy list truck for sale very close to me last night. I see add early this morning and send message. he replies at 10:30 am with number to call him. I call and said I will come over now to look at it and he says I AM going snowmobiling for the day so how about tomorrow coming to look at it. I have work tomorrow so I asked to look at early before i go in. I bet noon will be to early for this guy
