How hard would it Be to find 1966 Pontiac Bonnevile parts?

Hey guys,

looking at a project that may need quite a bit of work. Just curious as to how hard is it to find parts for a 66 Bonneville in Canada? (Ontario)

such as hood, bumpers, patch panels, etc...

All the things you list are unique to Bonneville, and not easy to find in Canada I'm afraid.

It seems very few of them ever made their way to Canada.

The bumpers, doors and fenders fit from a Catalina but even that is hard to find here.

And the 1/4 panels......well that would be tougher than finding that needle in the haystack. I think the 1/4's are a tough find even in the US.

I find for Bonneville, go to https://annarbor.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=bonneville

Then change the city on the drop down on the upper left.

Roam the border cities by selecting them one at a time.

Caution, this can be contagious !

What a story on this one Just south of Montreal.

Showroom condition. 1965 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible, Black with red interior, one owner, one driver, NO ONE ELSE has driven this car but me. I took a train to Detroit Michigan and drove the car home when I was in my senior year of college. It has the 421 engine, 338 hp, 4 barrel Carter Carburetor, 4 speed Hurst transmission on the floor, factory tachometer, 8 lug wheels with air cooled brakes, positive rear end traction, dual exhaust, 6 way power seats, power windows, a glass back window, power top, power antenna, leather seats, AM/FM radio with rear speaker, original spare tire, The outside and inside of the car has never been touched, the motor has never been touched, It is completely factory stock. It has 61,000 miles and I put approx 100 miles a year on the car driving it only in the summer and storing it in my garage when not in use. I'm retired and down sizing. I'm giving someone else a chance to own this beauty. I'm asking $74,500.00.

66 bumpers are pretty much the same Canadian or American. Mounting holes are not the same location or quantity. Bumper brackets are therefore not the same. Hood and doors are the same. Fender skin is the same but inner attaching points are different. Deck lids are model specific that is 4 door. 2 door, convert. Wiring harness is different but most relays are the same. Grills are the same. Frame, diff, suspension, motor and trans are different. Bonneville is longer but patch panels will be the same.
Beware of rust belt cars. They have the same rust in the same places as Canadian rust belt cars. Try Frank's Pontiac parts in California for parts. Bodies and clips.

Good luck. Bill.
