This'd be a good starting point for one of you guys from the east. No rust, and just needs some more tinkering.

That looks to be a really nice example. The colour is kind of rare as well... Really suits it. Lack of a vinyl top looks nice too.

The one thing I would do is get the back end down a bit. I like rake, but when you raise the B body up too high, the wheel always seems to be moved too far forward in the WW.

Not sure what's up with the rake. Front sits too low, and rear sits too high.

I don't think he'll get his price, but he's picked a good time to list the car.

It's got a genuine day 2 feel to it.

"New air shocks and coil springs in the rear". I'd fear he's put in the HD rear springs, and has his air shocks inflated.

Otherwise I think it's a good car, don't think he'll get his money though.

Not a fan of full size cars jacked up - there's too much real estate back there to be sticking up in the air.

Kinda reminds me of the Fury in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot...

I remember when I was a kid the "hooligan" neighbor kid had two friends who each had 69 GTO's. I seem to recall one was orange, the other in primer. Both were jacked up the highest I've ever seen an A body! What were the tires they liked to put back there? N50x15's? Deep dish slotted wheels too.

When I was a kid I thought musclecars looked really cool jacked up, and even better if they had side pipes.  Always thought the full size cars looked silly, but to each his own.

Later I learned about handling through my fascination with stock cars and road racers - then I thought lower was cooler... lol.

How about the florescent orange diff paint?

The oldest Vienne brother had that, even on his 440 Superbird. Yes, Superbird.

This is how I remember them back in the day... I also used to think the more decals in the quarter window the better... biggrin

I still love the 70s and early 80s street machine look. Jacked up with a slight rake, ohh yeah.
