I joined CP in December as I had purchased a 66' Beaumont 2 Dr. SD from Rust Bros. in October (Was on Rust Valley Restorers TV Show second episode) when I purchased this car. The car had just undergone a complete rotisserie restoration, and as such still needs a few minor items/work to complete. Items like original Steering wheel assembly, Back up lights, Seat Belts. Any Ideas on locating any of these items would be appreciated "driver quality". Have driven less than 100K so far (then to storage) so not sure what other issues I still may need to work out.
Example - no gas pedal, park brake cables, speedo cable, turn signal switch, park lights, window winders, inner door handles etc. These parts hadn't arrived then, so spring project is to complete.
Anyway since joining CP I have enjoyed reading about others projects, trials and tribulations. Back in the 70's I built a 57' Chevy 2 Dr. 150 Wagon that I had until the early 90's. Lots of fun once the MAJOR work is done......... Dave
Welcome: I appreciate it when someone fills in the profile. I googled Scotch Creek and found it to be in BC Very interesting google articles.
You will find an immense amount of information and most likely parts that you need for your car on this site. Good hunting. Photos are always appreciated.
Welcome! Your car looks great! I hope you can fill us in on the story of how you purchased the car and the connection to the TV show. I've watched the show and would find the 'inside story' interesting!

Welcome aboard! The reverse lights are a challenge. Ive got some crappy spares that I paid way too much for tucked away somewhere. Ive been hoping someone would be using a 3D printer to recreate some, but no luck yet. As a last resort I can see what I might have when the weather warms. Belts shouldnt be an issue for you. Two versions in the 66....regular and deluxe. I can send u a pic of the 2 versions if need be so youll know what to look for.
welcome aboard! As I was reading your post and the comments I had some fond memories of years gone by. I worked at a resort{ Saratoga} in the Scotch Creek area back in 1965 or 66. Spent the whole summer Pumping gas and making ice as well as anything that needed doing.
I saw that episode of Rust Bros. Looks like you got the start of a fun ride. Hope you have it complete of the up coming cruise season.
