Why was this moved to the "cars for sale" section? This really was not meant as a car for sale discussion, I don't even have the info on the sellers. I posted this in the pre-1958 general discussion just because this is such a rare car.

In the bottom photo (just above the bill of sale) notice the tail light configuration, or more importantly the body that the tail light housing goes in. It's 1955 Chevy. From what I understand, the 1956 Pontiac wagons used the 1955 Chevy body, and rigged up those tail light housings. Totally different tail lights than other 1956 Pontiacs.

55 Chevy taillights actually fit. I was amazed to see the Pontiac taillights intact, has to be be a very difficult piece to source nowadays.
Reminds me of the '60 Pontiac that I found in 1993 hidden by the brush alongside a busy road. Had driven by it for years and did not know it was back there. This area was cleared and a car dealership was built on the site within a couple years of taking these pics...

Well, I found it in 1993, and by the way it had sunk into the ground and generally disintegrated, I figured it must have been sitting there for 15 - 20 years, which would have made it a 13 - 18 year old car when it was abandoned... a used car basically.
Seems like less of a tragedy when you consider that most cars of its vintage would have been used, abused and had long been crushed by the time I took pics of it.
Ive got a pic of a 59 chev in similar condition, near 103 exit to Liverpool.

Hey Darryl, I heard there's an old Studebaker pickup buried under the Irving on the bypass.
A PEI time capsule like Miss Belvedere?

Since we are posting sad photos of cars here. Here are a few more from Minakers in the Picton area of Ontario. These photos were taken from 1987 to 1997.
