Hi,
This topic has been discussed on this site on previous occasions. I suggest that you check the following link and read through it carefully. It includes pictures too.
Good luck with your search.

Ames performance sells 66 Grand Prix and Bonneville clips that look the same. Order a few and see if they work. Part # is PF723D. Price is $2.00 each. They look the same in their catalogue. Catalogue P21 page 100.
Wow, a421cat! Your post has got to be the best one I have ever read on this site. I checked the Ames catalogue and part number and do agree that this clip looks to be the one many of us with '64 Custom Sports need for our rocker moldings. I certainly hope that Pontiacanada and Roger see this post since they are in the market for these clips as well as Terry and I. I have always been on the lookout for '64 Pontiac clips. No one has ever confirmed that '66 used the same clip.
Thanks again.

Don't worry Brian, I never miss a thing.

I just phoned Ames Performance and ordered 14 clips. Since I am still in Arizona, I am having them shipped to Apache Junction. Ames Performance is an awesome company with which to deal. They still have 128 clips (PF723D) in stock if any of you plan to place an order.

Have you found a source for the studs that slide into the trim and then insert into these clips?
I've seen the clips at flea markets but never the stud/rivet.
The studs seem to be molded into the die cast trim parts. I am guessing they are crimped in as the stud is hardened steel. Don't know how you could re-connect the stud once it is pulled out of the trim. Some of the end studs are threaded and also threaded into the trim do they would in theory be replaceable.

Correct.
I was thinking of trying to JB Cold Weld the studs/pins.

On a 64 Beaumont SD the studs are like a very thin head rivet and slide into slots in the trim.
