Not to knock the notorious aircraft but I kind of like the Power Wagon in the distance. They don't build either one the same anymore.

I was lucky enough to go on board the EC121K at McClellan many years ago, with an ex-flight engineer. Fabulous aircraft. Alumin(i)um cup holders in the late '40s no less!

I remember a Connie that was parked for many years not far from Toronto International Airport, at Derry Road near Airport Road. She was complete and intact and one day she was gone. It was being used as an eatery for a while. Then years later i saw her all in bits and parts behind a warehouse in the Dixie Road and Derry Road area of Mississauga. It was very sad to see. The Connie has an amazing history.

I think she wishes I would buy an old car so I'd stop whining about not having one!

That same Connie was moved just a bit west from there, still on Derry Road near some hangers. It must have been after they demolished the hotel. That is where i remember it for a number of years. Driving by on Derry Road and seeing it in all its glory.
