66 Antenna???

I ordered the chevelle equivalent, surprise, doesn't fit! Does anyone know where I can find an equivalent one that fits? Bonus if its telescoping.

I ordered this, https://www.opgi.com/chevelle/CH27836/
But it hits my wheel housing.

Thanks!

I have no idea how it could hit your wheelhousing if placed correctly. Did they did send the right one?

One thing I noticed in the product reviews is that one said it should have more of an angle on the bezel. That is false! Proper factory antennas mounted front or rear on a 66/67 Chevelle or Beaumont will actually lean outwards about 4°, not straight up. Most people think it is incorrect when they see it, but more likely they just never noticed it before (and now they will always notice it) nod.gif

I had an original factory antenna on my '67 Chevelle and it leans outward. An electrician broke the telescopic mast when I was having lights added in my garage disbelief but I was able to find an exact reproduction of the mast.

Take a look at the angle on a few samples below. The mast points straight  up from the mounting point on the fender, but the fender is angled and not perfectly level with the ground, hence the resulting angle on the mast.

Due to the outward leaning of the stock antenna combined with the particular viewing angle, the '67 below actually appears to have the front antenna leaning forward.  I have noticed it on mine as well. Most people can't believe it, but it is true.
