I like, but they should have put an SS dash in it

Kinda neat.  Looks like the car that was for sale around here while it was half way through its SS conversion.  If it's the same car I believe it still had a six in it.

One thing I don't get, but I see all the time, is the yellow high beams.  What is up with that?

"Cool" look MC. To some people. Yellow is really good in driving in snow, better than white for seeing and kind of European, which a 70 Chevelle is not.

Yeah, I figured they thought it was cool, I just don't know why.

Either you guys are slipping or I'm nitpicking as there's no such thing as a 1970 Chevelle Wagon!!

Thanks
Randy

From about 1969-71 they were Chevrolet Concours in various trim levels: Nomad, Greenbrier etc.

For some reason they weren't Chevellers or Malibus during this period.

Just exercising my old stroked brain..

Thanks
Randy

Correct you are!  In the US brochure...

n_1970%20Chevrolet%20Wagons-16.jpg

Except... for some reason the Canadian brochure still referred to them as Chevelle wagons...

Yes in Canada the wagons had the Chevelle emblem on the grille. I cant say about the U.S, built cars.
