I recently acquired a rare set of 1973 GTO moon hub caps from a sale on the forum. I never really thought about changing my car over to steel wheels and hub caps but now that I have them I figure why not try a different look. To that end I have no steel wheels. I looked around and found the chart below which shows compatible wheels:
SIZE APPLICATION ENTRE CODE GM PN#
15x7
Plain Steel
4.75"
AE AF AH FN LAM TJ XY 3977968
70
Monte Carlo
70-78
all others
Anyone out there able to help?
Thanks, Ray
This is what the car would look like vs.current Rally II Wheels
I might consider a trim ring as well.

Ray the best source for these wheels for your car is 1977-90 Caprice/Parisienne/LeSabre/Delta 88 non-police, non-wagon with 4 & 3/4 bolt pattern. These wheels are found on cars with F41 suspension. I've also found them on non F41 cars with the deep centre bolted wire wheel discs. They are noticeably deeper in offset than the standard wheels.
I would imagine that some of these wheels can still be found in Ontario. I was lucky enough to source some in both Newfoundland and Nova Scotia for my cars and those are small markets compared to Ontario. Maybe there are still some to be found in pick a parts or backyard garages. Maybe even the weekend flea markets. Good luck with it.
