Lookin' good Carl. Dumb question, should the battery be spun 180 degrees? I went with battery cables from NAPA, both had a black pigtail. My negative pigtail went to the fender to ground the body, and the positive spliced onto a fusible link to a junction block right behind the battery.
I see you don't have a pigtail on the negative, and you could cover the positive pigtail with red heatshrink to match the red wire across the radiator support.
Here's a couple photo's of my cars (you can only see the positive cables). Both are NAPA cables, but the ends are a bit different. I like the cable ends better on the engine with the dual snorkels.
Both my dual post Diehard's have been replaced with Group 24 Interstate batteries now.

ha ha...I'm so gullible, read your initial post and tried to figure out slippage issue until I read everyone else's comments. Tons of room around that BB still, looks awesome from my perspective!
