That is a rare one. I remember that Kerr Pontiac-Buick-Cadillac in Oakville had one in their showroom back in '75. Later I would see it on the road occasionally when in Oakville. Later (early 80s) it was repainted white without the graphics & stripes.

In the late 70's/early 80's I really wanted one of those...

Then the Grand National showed up!

I have to agree with Darryl. This car makes little sense to me.

A lot of things in the 70's didn't make sense!

For me it was the 1980's.

I look back (and I've also seen many '80's documentaries on TV), and I shake my head ... I can't relate to a lot of the style and culture back then. I'm glad the '90's blew "it" all up again!smile

What's not to make sense about?  It is an Indy Pace Car replica.  Lots of companies used to sell Indy Pace Car replicas back in the day - it was a way to boost their image and some are highly sought after to this day.

All depends on your perspective... I thought the '90s was when the cultural shift turned to negativity - style and culture really started to suck then for me.  The music industry followed suit.

To each his own, I guess.
