I stumbled across this book - its about 3 inches thick and loaded with information on locomotives - It probably was a period trade journal at the time

Any way here are some pictures of the contents

Now there is a super sweet find in that book. I have always been a major fan of locomotives, especially the stream liners. Today's modern trains are so boring looking but the trains of the past have so much character and class. It has always amazed me how men could design and build these amazing beautiful brutes. Thanks for sharing.
