One of my mother-in-law's relatives built this in the pre-prohibition days ... I always thought I'd go crazy if I tried to build one:

Reminds me of the old joke about the gynaecologist who quit to become a mechanic. One of his jobs was to do an engine rebuild which he got 110% on. He asked his instructor why 110% and he said you got 100% for the perfect job on the rebuild, the 10% was for doing it through the tailpipe.
