I'll give this a look. In my Parisienne, I'm buzzing 3000 RPM @ 80 mph. I think that was the cause of building up too much crankcase pressure and blowing oil out of my front seal on the way to Iowa a few years ago. And that's with 3.07 gears, same as what Carl has.

It would be a great addition Kevin. I would likely double the current miles on my car in about 5 years if I had overdrive!

Thinking same for 409 but need to know cost of unit, then factor in cost of D/shaft shortening, etc. My 52 Torpedo Back[lost in garage fire] had Tremic 5 speed & was excellent on fuel with SBC dualquad & 3:42 gears!!! Got 28 MPG+ on trip to West Virginia a few years back.
