Rear Brake Flex Line 67 Parisienne Convertible

Something else occurred to me. Not sure about your 1967, but in 1970 the hole in the frame that the hose goes through is an odd shape. Kind of an ellipse with a flat top & bottom. I notice the end of the hose pictured at the top of this thread is a hex shape.

We've run into this before, and I had to get a hose made at a local hose place. Years later another user used my info to get a hose made.

So take a look at the shape of the hole in the chassis.

I will check that!

I have read that sticky post many times

and could never make sense of it because

i had the wrong hose zip tied in place.

Cant wait to fix it right!

Amazingly it does not leak and it does work

But it scares me

Did you get a good look at it?   What may appear to be a hex at first glance, with a bunch of rust around it may be like I described.
