1963 fuel tank connector hose...diameters?....length?

The short hose that connects the fuel filler neck assembly to the fuel tank in a 63 Pontiac....

what is the length and dimension? Appears to short with two different size diameter on the hose.

It is held on by two clamps,(according to parts book) 1 1/2 to 2 3/4. Same for 62-64.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

I believe two sizes are listed, one for sedan, hardtop and convertible. The other for wagon.

3x 1 7/8 inside diameter.

Is the hose the same for the 1963 Chevrolet?

Gm part number 3834073

same for 1961-1964

Thanks Pete....exactly what I was looking for.

Didn't want to have to take mine off without a replacement.

Mine leaks when I fill my tank, and I'm sure the 57 old hose is the culprit.

If you dont want original GM, you can get the fuel rated hose at NAPA, Cdn tire, marine stores, etc. Just take the old hose with you.
