Clint's "Dream Car Garage"

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this one.

I've got the 454 4 speed Parisienne up on axle stands in the garage, the 454 2+2 convertible beside it, ready and raring to go, and the Parisienne convertible parts car in the alley.   It isn't every day you see 3  70's together.

An old photo from the day the 454 Laurentian arrived, sharing space with the 2+2 convertible.

I love the tail on the 2+2, Clint! I had a 70 Bonneville that used the same taillights...very cool! I also like the striping on the 2+2. Is that the way they came from the factory? Its just a nice looking car all around...and all the better that the top goes down!

I added the Bonneville bumper to the 2+2 rag a number of years ago. The endura section should be painted body color, but I figured yellow would have looked a little weird, so I went with black. There's also enough black on the car to go along with. Yes, the 2+2's had that stripe above the bumper, it sets the car off nicely.

No I don't, I wish I did but don't have the necessary ceiling height.

RE: Clint's "Dream Car Garage"

Very cool to see so many '70s at once!  Noted the 2 different locations for the engine callout badge.

Thanks for posting those - I recall when the '70s came out - my dad was selling Pontiacs at the time and always brought home the new models for me to see (as a car-crazy kid this was a big deal to me).  The '70s made an impression on me how unique they were from anything else I had seen previously.

The standard location for the engine callouts was on the upper front fender, between the wheel opening and the door.

The 2+2's and Safari Estate wagons had it ahead of the wheel opening, down towards the bumper. If removing them, they're easy to get from the lower forward position, but the fender needs to come off when getting them from the upper rear position.

My favourite of the bunch is the copper-coloured 2+2, with the 350.

That is a pretty car.

Cool!  I'm presuming the 2+2 fins and the wagon 'wood' trim prevented mounting in the standard location.

Just amazing to see those '70s all in one spot, even if some are no longer in your possession.

It's got just over 40K miles, and is still like driving a new car.   It's the nicest of the bunch, but everyone likes the 2+2 convertible.
