Pontiac Grande Parisienne 1967 rear window

Well, they share the same part number as the 66-67 Grande Parisienne according to the Oldsmobile MPC scan you showed. 4466580 -clear

Same shape. So I'd say it's the same part.

From the Canadian Pontiac MPC. 11.204 (Just like the Oldsmobile reference). -57 is Grande Parisienne 2 door HT.

Good luck Mario. We're always glad to help.

Did you ever contact that USA company. All told, that might be your best bet, as they know how to ship glass. It's a risky and unknown proposition otherwise.

Yes i contect them, but they say: "Hi Mario:

For 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix the back window is not available anywhere new in stock or available. I am sorry, that is pretty rare to find new.

Regards,"

But the guy was very nice

Hey Cliff, sorry i don't see the messages. I found a Window In Clear (Vancouver), the only problem is the Shipping to Germany. The Guy will package the window and will se how expansive the shipping is. I ask FedEx how much the shipping is, they tell me it's 1300 only for shipping Do you know is the back window clear? I found a Glass company in Germany and they can ordered a tinted one, but I want the clear one Thanks a lot Guys

This is the last email, a few days ago from Vancouver

I have started to investigate how to pack and ship the window. I am going to DHL Express to see about packing the window. They only ship via air, so I need to make sure this will work. I think I need to find a professional to pack the window. I do not want it to break. Once I get the window packed I can see about getting prices to ship it.

I trust this works for you.

Have a good day.

Hi just noticed this thread as I have been off the forum for a while.

If all else fails or is unfeasible I actually have two clear glass rear windows still installed, one on a 66 Grande Parisienne two door hardtop parts car and one on a 67 Grande Parisienne two door hardtop parts car.  I picked these cars up partly knowing how hard these are to find to make sure my 66 Grande would have extras if needed. Mine is shaded glass car though so won't likely use them.

I can take a picture or two if you like.

Again shipping with be the real cost here.  It will certainly involve a wooden crate and lots of careful padding etc.

Is there an advantage in the currency exchange rate.

purchasing in US dollars or Canadian dollars being converted to Euros?

That may be a consideration in choosing a shipping location.

I dont know with the exchange rate.

I hope the shipping from Canada is cheaper, than FedEx "Germany" for 1350

Good evening Mario

I am still looking for someone to pack the window. Not that easy. I been really busy at work the past two weeks. Hopefully I can find someone this week to professionally pack the window. Have a good holiday and sorry about the delay.

I've read some of the posts, and I'm not sure what you're looking for.
From what I can tell, you've found a place in Vancouver Canada that can make you a window, is that correct? But they won't pack it for shipping? Is that correct?

Hello Mario,

Should you find a good used windshield, (or new)

This is a good video on how someone could pack a windshield for you for shipping.

Use copper pipe foam insulation for the edges and expandable foam bags to secure the windshield in the box.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXhN9urIZwM

Outside of the big shippers you may want  to consider contacting this Canada to Germany shipper for information, cost and feasibility

of shipping the windshield.

I found a used one in Vancouver, the guy won't pack it for shipping, he will be sure that nothing happens, and he searched a professional for package.
