Nope. It seems like he used the license plates as inspiration.blankstare

Wonder what the fan shroud is from? That yellow on the dash is hard to take, should be tan to match the seats or have a yellow interior.

The license plates are white an blue. He must have a coloured license plate protector over the plate. Those covers were deemed illegal if the appearance of the plate is altered.

I notice that in the pic looking straight on at the steering wheel you can see the left driver side door hinge area color coded to the rest of the car. The rubbers therebdon't appear painted...Was this a factory color option? I don't like it

Firewall is not yellow.  Am I correct in saying that Canadian cars all got body-coloured firewalls?

I'm not well versed on 63's but is that the original 63 air cleaner?

 Yep, for those sixties cars.

Nope, wrong. It is like a '64 283/327:

Different fan shroud also for a '63.

Thanks... that's usually what I use to tell if there's been a repaint.  It's either the original colour or repainted black (unless the original colour was black, then probably not repainted).

But I understand that at least some American built cars had all black engine compartments, I think.  Not totally up on my engine compartment minutia...

Isn't the snorkel much wider than this one though? Or is that just an illusion?

Meant "isn't". Yes, this car has a wider snorkel and different lid.
