The car is 52 years old...maybe they fell off along the way?

Something doesn't seem right with the documentation. A 67 Beaumont built in June 67 with a VIN starting with 736 is a Custom, not an SD. It would have to be a 738 VIN to be an SD.

That is weird, as it says Sport Deluxe and has the "Sports Equipment" option, which supposedly came standard with 396.  Could you special order the sports option with a 327?

After the start of Dec 66 the only way you could get the Sports option was with a 396, no small blocks available with it. Prior to that time, A51 was Sports option, after that time A51 got you just bucket seats.

In a nutshell, prior to the start of Dec 66, A51 got you a Sport Deluxe with a variety of engine choices.

After the start of Dec 66, A51 got you buckets.

Not a bad looking car, all depends on the price
. It would be worth getting new docs for it, not that it should really alter the value a bunch, but it would be nice to know. I'm thinking altered docs... not the first time!

I don't know so much about them being altered as it just being yet another A51 Beaumont they documented wrong.  GM Vintage seems to have had trouble with those for some reason.

Well, the brochure sure seems to support the notion of a non-396 67 SD with external badging.
Was the brochure for pre-December cars only? It does say the trim etc is standard on the 396 SD, but seems to be an option on non-396 cars.
Weird.
MC - do you have the whole brochure? Does it have a date on it?

Apparently there's 2 brochures, pre-738 cars and post-738 cars. This must be the early brochure picture because it's claimed to be an SD but has a flat hood.

Here is the site with the brochure (and many others):
http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/static/Canada/Beaumont/1967%20Beaumont%20Brochure/dirindex.html

Like many things, brochures are a snapshot in time and don't cover what changes may have happened after printing.  In some cases I've seen pre-production features that never made it to the market shown on brochures, so they should only be used as a rough guide, not an absolute.

I would be nice if there were a source that had TSBs and other dealer info for Canadian Poncho history buffs, but I do not know of such a source.  They are a huge project and require lots of resources, research, and time to put it all together, so I have no such expectation that one would or could exist.  Here's an example from the Mopar world, that is by no way complete, as an example of what I'm talking about: https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtml

FWIW, the Beaumont in this discussion could have had some things, like the bulge hood, added along the way.  I wasn't aware that the documentation had the potential to be incorrect though.  That adds another level of uncertainty into it.

I saw a quite decent 69 or 70 Charger go through at Chilliwack about a year and a half ago and it went low to mid thirties if not mistaken. In my little amateur eyes I thought that was around fair value. I know the mopars tend to pull bigger dollars most of the time. Also seen a couple old plain Jane cars go through at other sales (like a mid 60s Valiant) and the same in my mind, not a steal but close to what it's probably worth. The thing is there you only have a minute and a half to make your final choice. They don't dilly dally like some auctions seen on TV. Largest and best run auctions in the world.

This car is probably similar to the Canadian only Malibu SS cars available in 66/67. A friend had a 1967 Malibu SS in the 80s, it was a 283 with a four speed and bucket seats with console. It had a 136 vin and a flat hood. The car talked about here is probably the Beaumont equivalent. I agree that when new this car shouldve had a flat hood.
