I actually tried plugging in the Spartan radio - nothing - my antique dealer friend tells me this is a no no with vintage radios
The knobs are actually worth a pretty penny . My antique dealer friend says the first thing he does when he gets vintage electronics in is to pull off the knobs - otherwise he finds they have tendency to fall into peoples pockets
Sorry I didn't get a very good picture of the cabinet that the Spartan is in - it is a nice dark walnut colour
My friend says he gets a lot of these vintage cabinets stereos offered to him - he usually passes - there is not much demand for them - no one has the space
