Good looking car- would fit nicely in a new garage somewhere.

A garage "somewhere" where the new owner has numerous previous experiences with '69 Canadian Ponchos.wink

It looks better in pictures than in real life. I looked at it a year ago when it was being auctioned off. It didn't meet reserve.

Still, a rare sight in Eastern Canada. Those that were here are no doubt long gone. Might be a good car for someone in NS.

It's not a terrible car but does need a few cosmetics. Here's some photo's Clint took for me of some of the issues when it was up for sale:

It's intriguing, and a nice enough looking car, but from the pics I'd say the bodywork is going to start popping out soon, and it will need more work + paint, which is an expensive proposition if you don't do paint yourself.  A price of a few grand less would make it more attractive IMHO.

I feel the same way. I don't recall if Clint noticed any holes in the floors/trunk etc.

Might be worth $10000 with a good new paint job and rust repair done right?

I didn't look in the trunk or at the floors, but I suspect they're likely fine.

I like the color combination, and the buckets and console add a lot of flair to the car.

Finding a decent nose cone will likely be the biggest challenge.
