This is a wooden yardstick from Barker Motors in Renfrew Ontario. It is in nice condition with some fading and yellowing consistent with age. The phone number confirms that. No cracks or splits. It says the same thing on both sides.
I found this in an antique shop north of Winnipeg in Manitoba's Interlake, some distance from home. Sorry about the pictures, it is difficult to take a good picture of a whole yardstick!
