Bantam was first with the concept but Willys got the contract for their design. Ford also built them under license during WWII and could be told from the Willys by the slotted grille, a grille that is now one of the most famous aspects of a Jeep.

Todd one of our locals has the trencher attachment on the back of his Jeep and still does contract work to lay farm water pipes. He has fitted duals on the rear for better traction and stability.
