1969 Pontiac Beaumont Convertible with original 350 engine and automatic transmission. Posting for my Uncle he has owned this car for about 42 years. When it was restored there was 2 new GM fenders, door skins, and rear quarter panels plus 2 new re-chromed bumpers and other parts picked up here and there to make it look good. Mechanically 98% good. Body needs a little TLC after 39 years. For more information please phone Mark at 519-371-9955. Appraised at $30 000 about 6 or 7 years ago Open to Best Offers

Nice car. Hate dealing with people who want "Best offer" though.

Agree Todd - along with "serious inquiries only" and "don't waste my time"....never disparage a potential buyer.

A guy that hounded me with misc questions and looked like he had no money showed up at my door

with $20,000 in cash one day.........SOLD!!biggrin

Nice looking Beaumont.  More or less original appearing, except all the trim and emblems have been stripped from the sides.

Unfortunately, the customizing fad from the 1950s and 60s made everyone think they had to strip emblems and trim off their cars back in the day, which was probably done to this one when it was painted.

Problem is, now that trim is virtually impossible to find, and it probably ended up in the garbage 30 years ago.

The pricing thing is annoying to us casual browsers, but a serious buyer would probably have no problem getting down to the 'real' price.  It almost seems like people don't know what their car is worth, and hope to understand the value by what people throw at them...  Makes me wonder if they sometimes turn down good offers thinking they are too low, and then later sell for less.
