Is that a Vette 3X2 air cleaner on the Impala?

Hey Ray,

When every you are in that area, keep a look out for a 1969 Grande Parisienne.

It's gold on gold and is 100 % original.

It never goes out much and probably part of a collection or just someone's special car.

Last sighting was about 7 years ago by my brother.

It is a twin of my first car, before the salt got to her.

As the plate attests the 69 Chevelle is still with the original owner
A lot of money has been spent on the 65 SS. If it's the car I think it is it was originally Sierra Tan or Cameo Beige. Major sound system.

Hey Ted, I was going to head over to Wasaga tonight but the heavy weather rolled in around dinner time. I'll try and get over on the long weekend Monday

Was it from Scarboro in late 60's. A guy name John Grainery (spelling may be wrong) had a hot 65 Impala that color

with a 365 hp 327 and either a turbo 400 or an Olds hydramatic.........was very very fast.

Good thing you didn't make the trek.

I went but it had been cancelled due to the impending rough weather.

Was 1/4 mile from home when the rain started.

Hope to see you next Monday.

Have no idea of the cars history.

Saw it one Sunday evening a couple of years ago at this same cruise night. Surprisingly that evening it was parked next to a brown 65 Impala SS 396 car. Comparing data plates revealed that they had both originally been the same colour code. The 396 car is a correctly done back to original specimen and this one has been updated to owners tastes.
