37th Annual Fenelon Falls, Ontario Car Show. Sunday August 4, 2019.

I took in the 37th annual Fenelon Falls car show and swap meet. At the fairgrounds and held by the Lions club with my lady in my 57 Pontiac. A perfect day driving there and back in some very beautiful country side surroundings. A two hour drive one way and well worth it. The weather could not have been any better for a show that attracted over 500 cars. I ran into an old buddy from Newmarket that i met 40 years ago with his 56 Chevy that he has had since he was 15 years old, (its the tu tone green 56) and another old car buddy that i have know just as long from Toronto with a 37 Ford. I will take the 57 Chev Nomad and then get rid of the yellow paint. Check out some the sweet rides there. Cheers.

Thanks George, I have a soft spot for those Dodge A100s as I got my driver's licence with one. On a side note we were heading north from Kentucky yesterday and were going through a place called Milton and I thought I now know where George hangs his hat. Thanks again.

 Thanx George - as usual just like being there.......great pics. You sure have saved us a lot of gas this and past summers but

rest assured we all appreciate your efforts.

I especially love the blue 2 door post 64 Tempest with the 326 and a Tiger in its tank.....beautiful.....smile

To those wondering about the Tiger tail, this was a promotion from ESSO in 64 and 65 'Put a Tiger in your tank'

As well Pontiac used the tiger imagery and ferocity in its Racing and ad campaigns for the GTO so the Tiger became associated with Pontiacs, especially the mid sizes Tempest, LeMans and GTO.

Thanks again for posting, George.

You mention "Put a tiger in your tank", I have a 1960s Dinky Toy Esso tanker truck that has that logo on the back. Does anyone remember Esso raffling off a Monkey Mobile around the mid-to-late 1960s? I remember them promoting it at the local Esso stations.
