In 1979 I had just purchased my rusty Impala. Met my wife at our country club in the apartment complex where we each lived. She was a dynamic woman and very athletic, with many fitness classes each week, and we took up cross country skiing. After a few outings I got up the courage to pop the question. By that time my Chev was operational and we left on our Honeymoon to the east coast in the Impala towing the family camping trailer. Great trip, lots of seafood. and sightseeing.
40 years later we took the Chev on a tour to Uxbridge to a restaurant that we had frequented once before many years ago. A bit of nostalgia.
We are located in, is an Ontario Heritage Building built in the 1860s in Uxbridge Ontario. This venue lends itself perfectly to our wide selection of vintage scotches, local micro brews on tap, as well as the home cooked food that we serve.
Drove home leisurely to Oshawa on roads that we had never driven on before through some beautiful scenery.

God bless you both and congratulations. These are times to cherish Cliff. I lost my wife 2 months shy of our 35th anniversary and we were together for 40 years, we were able to celebrate the occasion of our first date, our senior prom, 5 days before she passed away. I hope you two are able to celebrate many many more anniversaries.

Congrats! I was at a relative's wedding in Seattle a number of years ago. During the ceremony the Pastor said, "Weddings don't impress me. Anniversaries impress me." Not something you typically hear by a Pastor at a wedding but it was an excellent point he made.
