Congrats on your retirement coming up soon ! Selling scrap metal isn't good right now, I call last week and it was at 85$/ton :( last month it was at 140$ which was still not very good, chineze not buying ?? Next year I'll be weaning down to 12 days or less work per month ...

Just be careful !

I Took early retirement in 2017 because my job moved too far away from home.

3 months later, I took a job for a few days a week.

2 years and 2 promotions later, full time job.

Keep your head low and enjoy smile

  I've already turned down a couple of''' good opportunities''. I have a year or two just to catch up on my own stuff.
And then there are cars to play with. having a hard time deciding.

 Ouch, I'm just starting to think about when I will retire (turned 62 about a week ago) and then you post this? I hope this doesn't happen to me!

 Sounds like me ... I've retired three times since January 2017. Took part time summer jobs in 2018 & 2019. Now I am going to stay retired!

well the day has come. signed all the papers this morning.

now i have to cleanup my shop. it looks like a hoarder left on short notice.

i am a very happy camper. you will likely see more from me now. 

still deciding which one is first

It has been 15days  .I've been cleaning up  25 yrs of hoarding  . Started cleanup in the shop. And then paint  . Bought 800 dollar  of 

Paint yesterday. First I need to clean clean clean ,25 yrs of welding smoke .I'm not missing the working  part of my life. I still wake up  at 6:30 every morning . Fixing little things that I didn't have time to do before. 20191116_082256.jpg

This is the centre portion of the shop 30x 60 very dirty. Need to get some junk out. I have a couple of the neighbors kid to help 

After school  and Saturdays and I can't help it I'm teaching them of th finer  points of life.(cars   ).next  picture is  going to be my paint booth and machine shop its 17x45. not as dirty .20191116_082407.jpg
