I took in the annual Rockton car show and swap meet with my 57 Pontiac. The weather was blistering hot and i am enjoying the heat while it is still there to be enjoyed. The swap meet was dismal and i see a trend here. More and more people are giving up on vending and all the B.S. that it entails. I for one gave it up over ten years ago. There was an excellent turn out of some sweet vintage iron. Ran into another 57 Pontiac there. I will take the Corvair Ramp side pickup. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Thanks George, I have three favourites; The 1961 Parisienne blue and white bubble top, the 1963 split window Corvette Stingray and that orange 1957 T-Bird, reminds me of a hot wheel I have .

 I think i have had an appreciation for the 1958 Ford since i had a tin toy car of a 1958 Ford retractable when i was a kid. I have photos that my folks took of me with my toys and one of my toys was that 58 retractable. That 58 toy would move across the floor doing its retractable thing just like the real car. The toy of course vanished and back in the late 1990's i asked a very well known toy vendor what these same toys were going for on the open market. My response was ***********.

I like your coverage of the other Canadian models like the 56 Dodge and the mercury trucks

 RE the 1939 Chrysler I remember some screen footage of Johnny Carson driving a similar car in his farewell program
