The 55 56 57 Chev Cameo is the best looking truck ever. The first pick up ever to have class.......... real class. This is a 1955 or 1956 because the 1957 had a very different looking grill. She is a beauty no denying that.

Yup, the Cameo paved the way for fleetside pickups to come.  They were beautiful.

Less beautiful but every bit as interesting where the 'finned' Dodges of the era where fins were added to the bed sides to emulate the Forward Look cars...

The GMC version of the Cameo (rarer yet) is pretty cool too.

A Palomino, which I'd never heard of until I saw one in San Diego in the 90's.

 sorry - seniors moment on my part - i remembered these trucks were called Cam something

I think these were sort of forerunners of the El Camino

That red Cameo looks like a '57 (note the box side trim) with a '55 hood emblem, grille & nameplate.

Vernon Smith in NL has one of those Dodge pickeups and a 57 (maybe) Cameo. My buddy has the red 55 GMC and the black 58 Cameo.

 Yes the white one on top is a proper 1957 Cameo. All three of these Cameo's here are super stunning examples of a very prized design. Thanks for sharing these beauties.

 No, the Cameo rear bumpers were specific to the Cameo.
