I have an older 2004 810 Blizzard snow plow with the extension wings. The plow is only used on my own property on my unlicensed 1998 3/4 ton GMC pickup. I find the plow blade will not lift high enough appx only 6" above ground and with the wings extended the wings almost touch the ground. I have checked the owners manual and serviced the plow changed oil etc. The only adjustment I can find in the manual is the drop speed of the plow with an FC valve. I adjusted this valve to slow the drop speed so the plow does not bang on the ground when lowering. I cannot find a height adjustment to lift the plow higher even after searching the internet and found out I am not the only one having this problem.
Any one have any experience with Blizzard plows to get any more lift out of it. This is the only complaint I have with the plow other than the weight of it and needing at least a 3/4 ton truck to carry it.
