serial 2201117051 = 2 = Pontiac division, 2011 = model, 17051 is the sequential production number ( started at 00001 and went up )
engine W196329 = started at W175001 and went up
body s/n 1484 = ?
trim = 493 = interior colour and pattern
paint 254 = moss green

The first digit in the serial number is the model year. The second digit is 2 for Pontiac. If the second digit was 1 it would be a Chevrolet.
