Annual Waterford Pumpkinfest Car Show. Waterford Ontario. Sunday October 20, 2019.

I took in the annual Pumkinfest car show in the quaint town of Waterford with my 57 Pontiac. I was number 800 car at 10:00 am and the area was half empty, by 2:00 pm there was over 1400 cars there. The foot ball field was full so they ended up putting more cars in another field. The caliber of cars and the amazing diversity of cars was a site to behold. I never miss this quality event when the weather is good and the weather was great. I will take the 58 Buick Limited hardtop. Check out the rides. Cheers.

 Might be a '60 Ray - I think interior pleats in the 60 were vertical, '59 horizontal......smile

Gorgeous car Ray but sometimes unrecognizable by the younger set. When we had our 62 a young girl

at the gas station asked.."what kind of car is that?" I told her it was a Corvette.

She said "it doesn't look like a Corvette!".....smile

Did anyone else notice that blower charged 250 inline Chevy six banger. I spoke to the owner of that 1940 Mopar with that Chevy six. The blower is actually mounted up side down to make it work on that inliner. If you look at the photos of that Chevy six from both sides, it is an engineering marvel. The owner said it will put you back in the seat when you punch it.

Scary that he has a Fram filter on that, one of the worst rated. Should be using AC Delco from a GM dealer.

I've been using them and GM's EOS (lotsa Zinc) since 1963 and NEVER a problem. Almost lost a racing engine when someone

recommended a Fram for our dragster in 1990, oil pressure went to '0' when it blew on the launch at 6000 rpm......cry.

That motor went to 8000 rpm with many AC filters and never a problem.

Bernie, i totally agree with you concerning your FRAM filter thoughts. I stopped getting FRAM when Carl exposed how crappy they really are. I only use WIX and AC DELCO for my every day car and my 74 Chev. Cheers.
