Does anyone have a 4 speed shifter assembly for an A-body? something that would fit on a basic saginaw

I just need to borrow one for mocking up my floor hole in the wagon.  You will get it back

just want to be sure i cut the hole in the right spot!

As in the original shifter? If so, yes I can bring one along. I only have Muncie rods but the body is the same I believe.

I'm thinking i would probably eventually go with a hurst shifter, but the mounting location thru the floor would still be the same with any shifter i think?

I just need to be sure the floor hump gets welded in the proper place

the only thing i have to use as mockup is a Iraqi malibu 3 speed and i know that the shifter mounts way too far forward on those cars, compared to a chevelle

As far as I know, the Competition Plus fits the stock opening perfectly.

I picked up a head cold and sore throat over the weekend so I will make a cameo appearance but might not stay too long.

Oh man, no fun...

I'll bring along the little rubber cap I forgot to put back on the bleeder screw on that new wheel cylinder.

 Ha, Ha, very funny!

Actually my first 2 cars were manual trans when i was in highschool, and i more or less learned to drive on one before most of my friends.  But when you drive around the city all day, autos are sure alot easier on the legs.

I like this picture. It has one of those cartoon captions right above Ian's head, we can see exactly what he's thinking "MMMM, Tim Hortons Donuts".....

That made me laugh. I look like I am ready to fall asleep. I had a stress test early that day and it took a lot out of me. Looks like all I could think about is donuts and a coke.
