A 3.8 litre in the Syclone? Boy, my memory isn't great but I don't think so. Wasn't the Syclone a 4.3?

Regardless, love those GNX's.

Carl, you are correct. The Syclone and Typhoons both had 4.3's.

My 93 Typhoon was sold new in 95 to the doctor I bought it from in 96. Engine is a 4.3 with a liquid cooled interchanger, not at all like the 3.8 air cooled GNA . Still have my truck with only 26,000 miles on it

The GNX was pretty special. I remember back in 88 a guy used to race his at St.Thomas dragway. It ran in the 12's. The "regular" GN's were a blast to drive as well.

I was surprised that he was so touchy feely with the paint... especially black...

A friend had one new and I drove it, worked pretty good. He kept taking it back because he thought the tranny had something wrong with it. Had it in several times before they discovered it had no 1st gear. It had so much torque, it wasnt obvious it was pulling away in 2nd.
