I hate to think what he invested in just the wheels, never mind the rest of the car! You notice the "not quite the same" 421 fender emblem?

[video=Small block rumble ]

Yeah Roadster shop work isnt cheap. A couple of those cars I was caretaker of 3-4 years ago were built there. The owner told me the 70 Chevelle in this picture was a little north of 300 grand. Small block with 640 horse was a nice touch too. I think the 56 dialed in at about 550 horse and the 55 was the slouch at 500 horse. Roadster shop chassis and they handled like go carts. We took these 3 cars together over the Coke from Kelowna to Victoria. Pretty tough to hold them somewhat near the speed limit but if they would have caught us with our foot in it we would have been riding on a deck truck.

 A thought occurred to me, you would only have to build the outer ring to what ever size you needed, saving you a kings ransom.46112458-3456-4A00-BD06-AFE8D8E0AB10.jpeg

If you look at the build pictures in the link I posted earlier, you can see that the entire wheel and hub were built to bolt on to the axle like a standard wheel due to the large Baer disk brakes. I dont think that money was a problem with this build. Paul
