Yeah Im looking forward to it. I wonder if this car will show up there. If you look close on the door there is another name you may recognize, especially if you are a Star Wars fan.

I didn't know George was a car guy but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since he created American Graffiti.

I have not seen this movie yet and i probably will not see it because when it comes to automotive history, i only want real facts and real history and not the usual Hollywood B.S. that they put out. In the past i have read enough about the situation between Henry Ford II and Enzo Ferrari to be satisfied with that. Henry wanted to buy Ferrari and Enzo told him to take a flying leap. Ford had a hissy fit and went to war at all costs to beat Ferrari. That venture cost Ford big time but they did win big time. In the end it is all about male ego's and this did not help Ford sell any more cars than usual, just ego tripping. Cheers.

My lady and i went to see the movie about a week ago and we both though the film was very enjoyable and entertaining. My gal knows nothing about cars or automotive history but i do and i caught a lot of fluff and B.S. in this film and i suppose it is to be expected. Especially the way they presented Henry Ford II as a bit of a tyrant and even a complete ass hole. Everything i have read about him presented him as the complete opposite. Also the whole bit about slowing down driver Ken Miles so that there could be a one two three finish at the finish line, in the film it is Henry's right hand man that forces that on Ken Miles. In reality it was Carol Shelby who put this on Miles and in turn caused him to lose the race on a technicality. He would have won the race otherwise. There is a lot of changing around history in this film way to many times. I can mention many more blatant errors in this film but i might bore every one with it. Go see it for entertainment but not for any automotive history lessons. Cheers.

RE: Ford vs Ferrari

In Lee Iacocca's autobiography he portrayed Ford as a real a** hole.

Of course he did, after all Henry Ford II did fire him.
