Anyone have a spare white 4 speed shifter ball hanging around that they might part with? Not sure of the thread size, but it's the larger thread 65-?, Full size car muncie shifter

I'd bought one, a new OER ball, messed up, and the thread size is way too small.

What is the thread size on your handle? I'm presuming 3/8".

No, the 67 and down shifter thread is bigger. I think it's 9/16".

I'm thinking it was actually 1964 - 67 they used that particular white shift ball.

Yes, should be from the start of 4 speeds in the cars until the end of 67 on the bench seat cars.

Try Ebay. There is a listing for a white shift knob with the 4 speed shift pattern with a 9/16 thread. Eckler's Late Great Chevy lists the following. I suggest that you confirm the thread size first. Good Luck.
